The cultivation of young people’s minds and hearts to know and accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the mission of the youth ministry. 

This can be accomplished by faithful and diligent teaching of God’s Word, and a transformed life modeled before them. Our goal is that the Word of God would spiritually equip them and produce maturity impacting every area of their lives. 

Paul expresses this point especially in 1 Timothy 4:12-
“Let no man despise thy youth; be an example of believers, in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

Our desire is to give our youth opportunities to boldly express the gifts God has given them. Every 4th Sunday, they minister their gifts to the body of Christ through speaking the word of God, prayer, praise dance, singing, arts and drama, and other anointed expressions. 

In order for youth to be engaged and experience real transformation, the Youth Ministry leaders are committed to being of one accord, counseling our youth from a biblical perspective, sharing appropriate life experiences when necessary, and acknowledging and rewarding our youth for obedience to family and to God. 

Finally, our youth should know they are loved by God, by their parents, by their pastors and leaders and this in turn will cause them to love others. We intentionally establish a kingdom culture and mindset that obeying and serving the Lord is not only exciting but is our purpose and response to Christ for His saving power.
