Our Team

Pastor William Shelton
Dynamic Teacher. His goal outcome is “application” after the message. Loves family and cherishes marriage (34 years). Has 2 sons and 2 beautiful granddaughters.
Prophetess Nadene Shelton
Anointed prayer life, intercessor and unique delivery of the Word. Strong prophetic mantle and believes in signs, miracles and wonders. Spiritual leader and example for the women of God.
Elder Vance Harper
A man after God’s heart. His desire is the manifestation of kingdom principles in every domain. He loves to see people reach their full potential in God.
Elder Paul Hall
A man of God who is a worshipper and loves to give God praise. Married to one wife with 3 sons and 2 daughters.
Elder Brian Ayers
A Powerful Exhorter. His passion is aiding in the deliverance of God’s people from the bondage of sin. Is a business-savvy and family-oriented man. Married for 6 years. Has 3 sons and 2 daughters.
Elder Cameron Harris
A man of God who loves preaching and teaching the Word of God and seeing lives changed. Married to his wife Alyson, with whom they have 6 children and 14 grandkids.
History
On May 3rd, 2001, five people prayerfully started a church and ministry that would touch the lives of everyone who wanted God in a sincere and intimate way. The Lord had given the name of the ministry to one of the founding pastors months before and all agreed that this should be the name for “listening to God” is always the best thing a Christian can do.
In August of 2001, Listen to God Ministries acquired a church building in the northeast section of Riviera Beach to hold church services. Immediately, the spiritual leadership of the church became aware of the physical needs in the area.
Listen to God Ministries began to initiate outreach and evangelistic crusades in the inner city community which included hot food (usually grilled), boxed food, care packages, clothing and referrals to needed or requested services (i.e. AIDS Comprehensive Center, Homeless Shelters, Utility Assistance, etc.).
Listen to God Ministries was one of the first churches in Palm Beach County to recognize the need to minister to the single, unmarried Christian within the church and community. These conferences helped to encourage and empower the single Christian to live a life of victory and wholeness.
Over the years, effective and engaging ministries have emerged such as K.I.R. (Keeping it Real) which strengthens the spiritual walk of our younger women, Ministry of Reconciliation which reaches men from all walks of life, and our Youth Ministry which teaches our young people to challenge the culture they live in and not submit to it.
Our prayer is for true revival in the land and for the manifestation of the sons of God; both the earth and the souls of men are anxiously awaiting.

You can’t have church without wanting God. Jesus said in Matthew 16:18 “upon this rock (truth) I will build MY church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
The true church will stand through every adversity, challenge, and attack leveled against it – not because of us, but because of Him: the stone which is become the cornerstone.
Any church without God is no longer a church (ekklesia) but has become something else, without a perspective of who He is or His kingdom which is His will.
